Do What’s Right Claim Form

For Trane Comfort Specialist and American Standard Customer Care dealers who have selected DWR as a current-year benefit.

The purpose of this benefit is to provide Trane Comfort Specialist and American Standard Customer Care dealers with additional flexibility
to “Do What’s Right” for the customer. By choosing this benefit, dealers have the ability to replace a specified number of units during the
year (depending on TCS/CC enrollment tier) in the following situations:

1. Warranty Product ExchangeIf a warranty product issue cannot be resolved through the existing “First 90 Days Major FailureExchange” policy or a standard repair, a dealer may utilize this benefit to replace an existing piece of Trane Technologiesequipment

  • Eligibility: The replacement must occur within the warranty period (10-year maximum).
  • Replacement Condition: The replacement must be Like-for-Like equipment.
  • Exception: If a Like-for-Like replacement is not an option, substitution will be accepted if the MBU is a downgrade.

2. Charitable OpportunitiesWhen there is an opportunity to serve the local community, a dealer may use this benefit to donateequipment to a charitable organization or a person in need.

Restrictions:

  • The benefit cannot be used for personal use or training purposes. (Personal use includes employee and family use.)
  • Equipment claimed through the DWR program cannot be resold to the end user.
  • Labor, materials, crane, refrigerant, reclaim, removal, etc., cannot be charged to the end user.

3. Program Details

  • The program is subject to availability.
  • There will be no substitutions or upgrades allowed.
  • The product replaced must have been sold through the residential channel.
  • MBU Installation: The MBU must be installed by the TCS/CC dealer utilizing the growth benefit.
  • Product Restrictions: Only residentially applied products are eligible. Three-phase equipment and Ductless/METUS products are excluded from the program.
  • Indoor Unit Responsibility: Trane Technologies is not responsible for changing out the indoor unit to achieve a rated AHRI-matched system or a matched refrigerant system (e.g., R-410A vs. R-454B).
  • Example: If an R-410A outdoor unit is replaced by an R-454B unit via the DWR program, the dealer must replace the corresponding indoor unit using an additional DWR MBU. If the dealer runs out of DWR MBUs, they are responsible for the cost of replacing the indoor unit.

4. Claim Submission Deadline All claims must be submitted within 90 days of the invoice date or by 6 p.m. CST on November 30,2025, whichever comes first.
